Study and interpretation of levels of the $sup 175$Ta, $sup 169$Lu, and $sup 175$Lu nuclei obtained by on-line spectrometry (in French)

Thesis. Beam gamma spectrometry was used to study the three nuclides xn) reactions. The intrinsic enengies of states unobserved in radioactivity measurements were determined. The existence of rotation bands built on the different states was established for each of these nuclides. Only the 1/2/sup +/ (411) rotation band of /sup 175/Ta was not developed. In the case of weakly perturbed rotation bands, the energies were studied in terms of a limited expansion in the angular momentum powers. In the case of highly perturbed bands, the coupling was calculated in an exact manner. It is shown that for /sup 169/Lu an expansion of rotation energy in terms of omega /sup 2/ ( omega = angular velocity) converges more rapidly than an expansion in I(I + 1). A four parameter expression gives an excellent fit up to 27/2 for the ground state band. In addition, a similarity is observed between the 2J/h/sup 2/, f( omega /sup 2/) curves for /sup 169/Lu and /sup 171/Lu and those of their isotones /sup 168/Yb a nd /sup 170/Yb. The existence of an isomeric state of high spin was established for /sup 175/Ta (E = 1588 keV; T/sub 1/2 = 200 ns; I( pi ) = (21/2)/sup plus or minus . Other high spin states, interpreted as three quasiparticle states were also observed in /sup 177/Ta and /sup 179/Ta at comparable energies. (FR)
