Study of parity violation in nuclear states (in German)

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4936370
The spins of the analog resonances of some low-lying states of /sup 67/ Zn have been deduced from the /sup 66/zn(p, p' gamma )/sup 66 Zn(1.04-MeV) reaction in the triple-angular correlation geometry of Goldfarb and Seyler. Excitation of the elastic and inelastic protons (0/sup +/, ground state; 2/sup +, 1.04 and 1.87 MeV) have been mmeasured at 90 and 130 deg . The following spin and parent states in /sup 67Zn; 0.390 MeV, 3/2-; 0.978 MeV, 5/2+; 2.273 MeV, 5/ 2+; 2.407 MeV, 5/2+; and 2.797 MeV, 5/21. Four other resonances for which definitive spin assignments could not be made were also studied. NUCLEAR REACTION /sup 66/Zn(p,p), /sup 66/Zn(p,p/sub 1/), /sup 66/Zn(p, P/sub 2) , measured sigma (E), E = 3.0-5.8 MeV. Deduced 1 of IAS in /sup 67/Ga. Measured J of IAS in /sup 67/Ga using /sup 66/Zn(p, p1 gamma ) angular correlations. Enriched targ et. (auth)
