Application of microwaves and far infrared to the problems of diagnostics in research on controlled fusion (in French)

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4935716
Several actual problems of hyperfrequency diagnostics studied in the laboratories at Fontenay-aux-Roses in the framework of studies on controlled fusion are presented. Measurement of high plasma densities by submillimetric interferometry, determination of density profiles by multibeam interferometry and by reflectometry, study of turbulence by microwave scattering, and measurements of the magnetic field components by Faraday rotation and by a method using the nonlinear properties of the plasma are discussed.
