The first section of this report contains fairly complete articles -on the following subjects: PURNIMA, role of filter detector spectrometer in neutron spectrometry, magnetic materials and neutron diffraction, and nuclear physics research with 5.5-MeV van de Graaff accelerator. Then brief reports are presented on research in the following areas: nuclear physics (nuclear reaction and spectroscopic studies, fission physics studies), solid stste physics (xray crystsllography, neutron crystsllography, neutron diffraction studies of magnetic materials, neutron inelastic scattering snd dynamics of condensed media, Moessbauer spectra and hyperfine fields), reactor neutron physics, and experimental techniques and instrumentation. Teaching and training activities, publications, and a list of the Nuclear Physics Division staff are also included. (RWR)
