Solution of three-dimensional Lippman--Schwinger equation without partial- wave expansion

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4935607

A method for solving three-dimensional Lippmann--Schwinger equation, good for shont-range potential, is presented. The method allows one to solve the scattering problems in the region of intermediate and high energies and to describe the motion of a particle in the noncentral fields. For the Gaussian potential scattering the resulting amplitude is compared with the Born and eikonal amplitudes. ( auth)
