Study of counting techniques using correlators (in French)

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4932584
The possibilities offered by an experimental determination of correlation functions were studied in view of a possible use in 4 pi BETA - gamma and other general counting techniques. The conditions of measurement and interpretation are especially suitable when the correlation is in relation with a random function with two values only, transitions being ordered by the pulses of the counting experimental process to be studied. Such a device is also quite suitable in an electronic setup where the two possible states, realized with a bistable, are triggered in accordance with the pulse registered by a counter. (FR)
