The 90 deg differential cross sections were measured for proton radiative capture in 39K at 6 to 15 MeV. The yield of gamma rays from transitions to the ground state of 40Ca was found to pass through a giant resonance for excitation energies between 18 and 22 MeV, and four more fine structure peaks were found. In addition to gamma rays from transitions to the ground state of 40Ca, a secondary, lower energy spectral line was also found. (C.E.S.)
