Angular distributions for N{sup 14}(d,d)N{sup 14} from 0.7-2.1 MeV

Absolute cross sections for the N/sup 14/(d,d)N/sup 14/ reaction were measured with a gas target in a differentially pumped scattering chamber. Excitation functions were measured at the center-of-mass angles of 90, 125.3, 140.8, and 166.5 deg over the energy range from 0.650-2.0 Mev. There is no pronounced resonant structure in the data although the cross sections are depressed below the calculated Rutherford cross sections over the entire energy range. Angular distributions were measured every 200 kev from 0.7-2.1 Mev for the center-of-mass angular range from 20 to 165 deg . (C.E.S.)
