ADSORPTION OF PLUTONIUM COMPLEXES IN ORGANIC MEDIA ON THE METALLIC SURFACE

The adsorption of some organic complexes of plutonium (IV) with dcdecylphosphoric acid, dibutylphosphoric acid, tri-n-butylphosphate, tri-n- octylamine and tetrabutylammonium nitrate on a Pt surface in organic media of low dielectric constant (carbon tetrachloride, benzene, chloroform) was investigated. It was found that the plutonium adsorption depended on the concentration and chemical properties of the complexing agent, on the initial concentration of nitric acid, and also on the properties of the diluent.
