The Non-leptonic Decays of Hyperons

The non-leptonic decays of hyperons are investigated using the Sakata model and the V-A theory of weak interactions. LAMBDA and SIGMA decays are treated in a unified way. In the latter case, a possibility of interpreting the experimental evidence is given, provided that the structure of SIGMA -hyperon satisfies suitable conditions. (auth)
