ACTIVATION ENERGIES FOR THE CREEP OF POLYCRYSTALLINE URANIUM (in French)

The activation energies of the creep of polycrystalline uranium were determined by studying the variation of the velocity of deformation with temperature. The constant value obtained above 580 deg C suggests that uranium creep in this temperature region is controlled by a displacement mechanism for dislocation whose heat of activation is that of the self-diffusion.
