The content of blood plasma protein and protein fractions in persons protractedly working with ionizing radiation sources was investigated. It was found that the long-term effect of small doses of ionizing radiation causes biological reactions in the organism differing from those due to large doses. The changes in the Protein metabolism are manifested by an augmented content of blood plasma at the expense of albumins, gamma-globulins, and fibrinogen. (auth)
