A reactor refeeling machine is provided with equipment for use in unusual or faulty conditions, in addition to normal refueling equipment. The emergency equipment includes a spare biological shield plug for sealing a reactor standPipe, a dump can for fuel element fragments, and a television camera; they may be brought into operative position by moving the refueling machine by a small amount.
