MEASUREMENT OF K CONVERSION COEFFICIENT OF 279 KEV GAMMA RADIATION IN Tl$sup 20$$sup 3$

Journal Article · · Nuclear Phys.
The K conversion coefficient of the 279-kev transition in Tl/sup 203/ was determined by measuring the relative intensities of the 279-kev gamma ray and the H x rays from a Hg/sup 203/ source. Using the value omega /sub K/ = 0.955 for the fluorescent yield, the conversion coefficient was determined to be alpha /sub K/ = 0.175 plus or minus 0.0036. (auth)
