THE PRECISION AND SENSITIVITY OF RAPID LUMINESCENCE URANIUM DETERMINATION (in Russian)

Journal Article · · Zavodskaya Lab.
OSTI ID:4837077
The precision and sensitivity of luminescence determination of uranium (1.1 x 10/sup -7/g/ml) by the NaF bead method was analyzed at temperatures from 900 to 1200 deg C. The luminescence intensity of beads with equal amounts of U is plotted as a function of temperature. The deviatlons did not exceed 4 to 5% at 900 plus or minus 10 deg . The maximum measured concentrations were 2 x 10/sup -8/ to 2 x 10/sup -5/ g/ml. (R.V.J.)
