The recrystallization of potassium sulfate precipitate decreases following Ce and La adsorption. The relation between Ce and La crystallization coefficients in Me/sup 3+/K/sub 2/SO/sub 4/-0.5 n HNO/sub 3/ and the solubility of the separated binary salts were established. The participation of Ce and La in potassium sulfate crystals as binary salts K/sub 5/La(SO/sub 4/)/sub 4/ and K/ sub 5/Ce(SO/sub 4/)/sub 4/ was confirmed. (R.V.J.)
