Solubility of binary K/sub 4/Pu(SO/sub 4/)/sub 4/ in saturated potassium sulfate solution 1, 1.5, and 2N HNO/sub 3/ was determined. It is shown that the magnitude of Pu(IV) crystallization with K/sub 2/SO/sub 4/ is related directly to the solubility of K/sub 4/Pu(SO/sub 4/) /sub 4/ adsorbed from plutonium solution on the potassium sulfate surface.
