The systematic study on the basic mechanism of extraction for the systems of TBP-acids, TBP-U-acids, and TBPextractabillty in these systems were discussed. The extraction of uranium by organophosphorus compounds with different chemical structure was also studied, and the extractability of these solvents was shown to be partly explainable by the electronic theony of organic chemistry. Several applications and solvents were proposed. (auth)
