FOCUSING OF RELATIVISTIC ELECTRON BEAM IN ACCELERATED VARYING MAGNETIC FIELD (in Russian)

Journal Article · · Zhur. Tekh. Fiz.
OSTI ID:4833086
The behavior of an electron gas placed in a given external axially symmetric magnetic field varying irregularly along the axlal symmetry is described by the relativistic hydrodynamic equation for a charged ideal liquid in the presence of a magnetic field. A particular solution is resolved as a concept of circular current accelerating along the axis symmetry with simultaneous focusing of the electron beam. (tr-auth)
