TENSILE TESTS ON 304 ELC STAINLESS STEEL

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4832306
304 ELC stainless steel tubing was tested to determine properties of the material when it is worked. Results indicate a yield point of about 27,500 psi and an ultimate strength of 80,000 psi, with unit elongation ranging from 52 to 67% depending on the type of loading applied. (auth)
