GAMMA RAYS FROM THE $sup 27$ Al(p,$gamma$) REACTION
Gamma-ray spectra and angular distributions are measured at the 759, 766, 773, and 993 kev resonances of the Al/sup 27/(p, gamma ) reaction. The results obtained at the lower resonance are in agreement with previous work At the 993 kev resonance a transition to the 7.80 Mev level of Si/sup 28/ is observed. Tentative J/sup pi / assignments to the resonance levels of 2-(759 kev), 4-(766 kev), 1+(773 kev), and 3+(993 kev( are discussed. (auth)
