The principle characteristics of the Rowe Nuclear Power Plant are briefly reviewed as an introduction to a discussion of the preliminary results of the running-in operation. The phases discussed are preliminary testing of the primary system and its auxiliaries, the fuel charge, lowpower testing, running-in tests on the turbine, and measurements at various power levels. The principle operations during each phase and the results obtained are discussed individually. (J.S.R.)
