BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY OF CATECHOLAMINES IN RABBITS AT VARIOUS INTERVALS AFTER THE IRRADIATION (in Russian)

Journal Article · · Byull. Eksptl. Biol. i Med.
OSTI ID:4830797
Catecholamines were isolated from the anterfor chamber aqueous humor of rabbit eyes at various intervals after irradiation. A study was made of functional disturbances of the isolated frog heart and in pupil diameter in desympathised eyes of frogs following administration of catecholamine. Results indicate that catecholamines are biologically active during the whole period of radiation sickness. (C.H.)
