In reactors the tubular fuel elements are arranged at a given lattice spacing parallel to each other in circular channels or fuel element channels, which are horizontal or perpendicular. So that the fuel elements in the tubes can be exchanged, there must be passage through the container wall. This creates difficulties with respect to the construction since in the usual lattice arrangement the tubes lie very close to each other and weaken the stability of the container. In this patent a device for loading bore hole systems is described. A movable, rotary device is superposed on the inlet tube of the container wall. The placement of the device can be monitored through the use of television and therefore controlled. (J.S.R.)
