A FAST FLIP-FLOP CIRCUIT UTILIZING TUNNEL-DIODES
Journal Article
·
· Nuclear Instr. & Methods
The flip-flop circuit described is triggered symmetrically to switch in both directions as a result of pulses of the same polarity; instead of changing the polarity of the pulses there is a change of input channels. This change is performed automatically by the tunnel diode itself while changing its state. The ultimate speed of the fast bistable multivibrator circuit is the switching time of the tunnel diode, which could be better than one nanosecond. (N.W.R.)
