The maximum analyticity principle in the angular momentum

It was proposed to extend the maximum analyticity principle to angular momentum. Analyticity of the scattering amplitude in the angular momentum 1 was proved for potential scattering only when Re(l) > --1/2. It should be possible to extend this analyticity in the whole 1 plane, apart from those singularities which have a clear physical interpretation in terms of dynamical resonances or bound states. A potential with a strongly repulsive core is possible in the sense that the resulting amplitude is then even in (1 + 1/2) and the desired analytical continuation is then trivial. (auth)
