LEVELS IN $sup 150$Sm FROM THE DECAY OF $sup 150$Eu

Journal Article · · Nuclear Phys.
The decay of 14.0 plus or minus 0.5 hr Eu/sup 150/ to Sm/sup 150/ and Gd/sup 150/ was studied using scintillation techniques. Only one gamma ray of 620 kev seems to be associated with the negatom branch, but two gamma rays of 334 and 405 kev follow the position amd capture branch, as well as gamma transitions of 715, Gamma-gamma coincidences and angular correlation measurements establish the existence of a 2/sup +/ level at 334 and a 0/sup +/ level at 739 kev. Further levels in Sm/sup 150/ are at of the Eu/sup 150/ ground state is probably 1; speculations are made on possible proton and neutron orbital assignments. (auth)
