The radioactive decay of Eu/sup 150/ to Sm/sup 150/ is of interest in finding new levels in Sm/sup 150/ which cannot be detected by a (n, ) reaction on Sm/sup 149/. The Eu/sup 150/ activity (T/sub 1/2/ = 14 hr) w as prepared by bombarding an enriched Sm/sup 150/ target with 10Mev protons on a cyclotron. The europium activity was isolated by ion exchange separation. The spectrum of Eu/sup 150/ was measured on a scintillation spectrometer. The - coincidences were followed on a two-crystal spectrometer with a fast-slow coincidence arrangement, and a summing circuit. The resolving time of the fast coincidence circuit was 1.5 x 10/sup -8/ sec. The energies and relative intensities of the rays are listed. A decay scheme for Sm/sup 150/ is presented. The data agree with that of Harmatz et al. in Phys. Rev., 123: 1758(1961) with the exception that an additional level having an energy of 1050 kev was introduced. The data also agree in general with that of Ricci et al. in Nucl. Phys., 32: 490(1962). (TTT)
