SEPARATION OF URANIUM, NEPTUNIUM, PLUTONIUM, AND AMERICIUM BY REVERSED- PHASE PARTITION CHROMATOGRAPHY

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4827726
Reversed-phase partition chromatography was applied to the separation of U, Np, Pu, and Am using TBP as the stationary phase and nitric acid with and without reducing agents as the mobile phase. The general principle of the separation is described. Representative chromatograms are given for the separation of (Cr), U, Np, Pu, Am, and for the separation of U, Np, and Pu. (auth)
