A DETERMINATION OF THE MEAN L-FLUORESCENCE YIELD IN THALLIUM

Journal Article · · Nuclear Phys.
Using a Hg/sup 203/ source, the mean L-fluorescence yield in thallium is determined to be 0.41 plus or minus 0.04 by comparing the L and K x-ray intensities following the conversion of the 279-kev gamma ray in Tl/sup 203/. (auth)
