PROPERTIES OF PLUTONYL FLUORIDE COMPLEXES (in Russian)

The properties of complex fluorides formed with plutonium in alkali metals are studied, and phase diagrams are constructed for difluorides of the type PuO/sub 2/F/sub 2/--MeF--H/sub 2/0 (Me is Na, K, NH/sub 4/, Rb, and Cs), with atomic ratio Me: Pu from 1 to 50. The salts have a complex cubic lattice. Chemical analysis, absorption spectra, and x-ray diffraction analysis show isostructural series of Me/sub 2/PuO/sub 2/F/sub 4/. (R.V.J.)
