ELECTRON CONCENTRATION AND TEMPERATURE IN A WATER STABILIZED PLASMATRON JET (in Russian)

Investigations are made of the H BETA and H gamma circuit lines in a water-stabilized plasma jet. The circuits are described by Griem-Kolb-Shen theory on stark broadening of hydrogen lines in plasma. The H/sub BETA / and H/ sub gamma / lines were used for determining electron concentration in a jet axis at various plasma currents. The equilibrium temperatures corresponding to electron concentrations are calculated by means of Sachs equations. (R.V.J.)
