A STUDY OF STRONTIUM, CALCIUM AND BARIUM RELATIONSHIPS IN SOILS AND VEGETATION. Progress Report
Technical Report

OSTI ID:4822681
Three forested locations were characterized according to the principal vegetative species comprising the brush, understory, and climax canopy cover. Vegetation and soil samples were collected following a statistically designed pattern. Samples were analyzed spectroscopically for chemical composition. Data are tabulated on the concentrations of 20 elements in leaves collected during 1961. Results are compared with measurements made in 1960. Data from foliar and soil samples will be examined statistically for the relationships between Sr, Ca, and Ba. (C.H.)
