The results of some calculations for Ti/sup 47/ (n,p)Sc/sup 47/ and model is assumed to be valid for the compound nucleus only and the (n,p) reaction is treated in analogy to inelastic neutron scattering to the ground state (or to the ground plus first excited state) of the residual nucleus. The calculated and experimental values are compared. There is no agreement between calculation and experiment. (J.S.R.)
