MEASUREMENT OF THE CROSS SECTION OF THE REACTION Ti$sup 47$(n,p)Sc$sup 4$$sup 7$ (in Spanish)

Journal Article · · Scientia Valparaiso, Chile
OSTI ID:4073555
The cross section for the reaction Ti/sup 47/(n,p)Sc/sup 47/ was measured for neutron energies between 2.0 and 3.6 Mev. The experimental method used in the measurements is described in some detail and shown schematically. The results are tabulated and given graphically. An analysis of the results suggests that the ground state and, possibly, the first excited state of the residual nucleus contributes predominantiy to the cross section. (J.S.R.)
