The nuclear resonance of Fe/sup 57/ in the local fields of X-Fe garnets (X = Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Y, Er, Tm, Yb, or Lu) is studied. By comparison of the results, the effect of the point of compensation on the resonance is confirmed, and the dependence of the magnetization of the Fe sublattice on the size of the crystalline cell is determined.
