The characteristics of the Saturn proton synchroton are briefly presented, and the main principles of radiation control near the accelerator are illustrated. The apparatus for detection of radiations is described. The results of measurements of irradiation are presented, and the mechanisms which are being constructed for better protection of the accelerators are described. (auth)
