The dependence of the cross section for the reaction Th/sup 232/(Ne/sup 22/ 4n)Fm/sup 250/ energy was measured. It was found to have a curve with a maximum of 107 Mev and halfwidth of 11 Mev. The maximum value of the cross section is 2.5 x 10/sup -31/ cm/sup 2/. The cross sections for the reaction are compared with those for the reactions of Pu/sup 241/ (C/sup 13/,4n)Fm/sup 250/ and U/sup 238/(O/sup 16/,4n)Fm /sup 250/. (auth)
