INVESTIGATION OF THE NUCLEAR REACTION $sub 90$Th$sup 232$$($$sub 10$Ne$sup 22$, 4n)$sub 100$Fm$sup 25$$sup 0$ (in Russian)

The dependence of the Th/sup 232/(Ne/sup 22/,4n)Fm/sup 250/ reaction cross section on the Ne/sup 22/ ion energy is measured. The curve is found to have a peak near 107 Mev (laboratory system) and a half width ~11 Mev. The maximum value of the cross section is ~2.5 x 10/sup 31/ cm/sup 2/. The cross section of the investigated reaction is compared with those for Pu/sup 241/ (C/ sup 13/,4n) Fm/sup 250/ and U/sup 238/ (O/sup 16/,4n)Fm/sup 250/. (auth)
