The highest dose in the lung was 150-160% of the air dose per one of 4 radiation portals. The part of the lung receiving the highest dose was the upper, anterior, and outer part. The lung tolerance dose was determined to be 3800 r in 30-40 days. (Abstr. Japan Med., 2: No. 3, May 1962).
