RESONANCE SCATTERING OF $gamma$-QUANTA IN Te$sup 12$$sup 5$ (in Russian)

The Mossbauer effect for 35.5-kev gamma rays from Te/sup 125m/ is observed by recording the x rays emitted after conversion in the resonance on the scattering nuclel. The values f = 0.12 plus or minus 0.03 (for a temperature -- 190 deg C) and f = 0.067 plus or minus 0.008 (room temperature) have been obtained for TeO/sub 2/. A half life (1.4 plus or minus 0.21 x 10/sup -9/ sec is obtained for the 35.5-kev level. (auth)
