SEPARATION OF Zr AND Hf BY EXTRACTION AS NITRATES (in Russian)

Zr and Hf separation in nitrate solutions of amyl acetate, butyl acetate and isoamyl alcohol was analyzed, and the dependence of Zr and Hf distribution coefficients on aqueous phase acidity and on Zr concentration was determined. Data on the microquantities of Zr in aqueous nitric acid solutions are used to determine the ratio of distribution and separation coefficients. (R.V.J.)
