A transistorized decade scalar with the counting capacitance of 10/sup 8/ pulses and 10/sup -7/ resolution time is described. The maximum counting rate is 5 M/C. The circuit contains 8 decades, a stabilized supply unit, and a control unit. Driving diode gates attached to the binaries minimized the number of the necessary triodes and gave, as a result, reliable and easy to make circuits. A complete interchangeability of plug-in decades provides for fast repair when failure takes place. The device has provisions for manual and automatic operation, and can be also driven by the outer timer. It has the power consumption of 4w. (auth)
