FINAL CONTRACT REPORT ON UPTAKE OF P$sup 32$ BY PROSTATE GLAND
Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:4818085
S>The differential uptake of tracer doses of Pa/sup 32/, Rb/sup 86/, and Zn/sup 65/ by carcinomas of the prostate gland was not sufficient for use in diagnosis of this condition. Although a higher specific activity was observed in carcinoma tissue following administration of the radioisotopes, there was considerable overlap, which eliminates the method as a reliable diagnostic technique.
