The distances between the energy levels in the nuolear two-body problem, corresponding to the doublet states (inverse), are calculated using phase shifts. The results are in satisfactory agreement with experiment. Allowance for the spin orbit coupling in the nucleus makes it possible to obtain, with the ald of these data, the relation that should be satisfied by the forces between two nucleons. (Referat. Zhur.
