ISOTOPE EFFECTS ON INTERMOLECULAR INTERACTIONS AND ISOTOPIC VAPOR PRESSURE DIFFERENCES

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4816936
Problems in the calculation of isotope effects on the vibrational frequencies of the condensed phase in gas-solid systems were studied. The isotope effect on intramolecular frequencies due to dispersion or van der Waals forces between symmetric nonpolar molecules was determined. Isotope effects on vapor pressure were calculated.
