>A method for processing a polymer is given which is applicable to radioinduced graft polymerizations on an industrial scale in the absence of air or oxygen. The method comprises immersing the polymer and a polymerizable monomer in a non-dissolving liquid to form a pulp, and flowing the pulp in a conduit past a radiation source. The liquid may also be a source of free radicals for accelerating the irradiation-polymerization processes, particularly water. Several examples of the method are given. (D.L.C.)
