MEASUREMENT OF PROFILES OF TRACKS IN NUCLEAR EMULSIONS

The average thicknesses of proton, alpha, and lithium nucleus tracks were measured at the end of their ranges at distances 5 to 400 microns from the stopping point. Good distinguishability of tracks of these particles is demonstrated. (Referat. Zhur. Fiz., 9: 22394).
