A DEMONSTRATION OF DETERMINING PLUTONIUM IN URANIUM BY CONTROLLED POTENTIAL COULOMETRY

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4811393
The reliability of controlled potential coulometry for determining plutonium in uranium is demonstrated. Two unirradiated uranium-plutonium fuel elements were used for the analysis. The results are presented in tabular form. For the two fuel elements the ratio of % Pu found to % Pu naake-up was 0.996 and l.007. (auth)
