APPLICATIONS OF CONTROLLED POTENTIAL COULOMETRY

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4770305

The broad capability of controlled potential coulometry is shown by reviewing analytical methods for radioactive and non-radioactive materials. In essence, controlled potential coulometry is the titration of an ion by electrically reducing or oxidizing it at a controlled potential. Methods are given for the coulometric determination of plutonium, uranium, iron, lead, nitrate, gold, cadmium, copper, thallium, and neptunium. (N.W.R.)
